Lesson Plan for Thursday, March 8th, 2018
- Okay! Lots to do today! First you have some choices today. They are as follows:
- Have our sub (Should be Mrs. Moeggenberg) number you off by five. There will be five groups to come up with a 90 second Public Service Announcement that makes the world a better place.
- That world can be school, home, community, state-wide, nation-wide, or world-wide.
- You may use any devices/apps/programs to shoot, edit, produce it. Keeping it super simple is shooting on a phone and loading to YouTube and using the editing tool right in youtube.
- What can you come up with mostly on your own? Brainstorm? Awesome Idea? And I always have prizes for the best one(s)!
- Second, you may choose to do a FaceBook analysis of someone's page. Please start with mine.
- Scroll through my page and make some notes. What is its personality? The 'feel' you get from it? What is it you like? Dislike? What are my page strengths? Weakness? What stands out? What could I do without? Something else? What posts get shared/liked/loved the most?
- Do not be afraid of helping me get better. I am always looking to improve and want input.
- Then when you have time, do the same through your own FB page. Self analysis is a very good way to improve! Employers will always be checking your social media! Make it a good one!
- Third, I am looking to see who can find the BEST way to do screencasting on a computer and on a phone or tablet.
- Search around see what you can find. Try them. Make a few. Teach me a quick lesson on "How to...".
- We will be using these later to complete projects so find one(s) that are easy to use and effective.
- I will be asking for these on Tuesday.
- Lastly, feel free to start reading the books in the folders. Read a chapter or two from iY Generation or Powerfriending. Make note of what you find interesting and would like to present to class. Click HERE to access the folder.
- Have our sub (Should be Mrs. Moeggenberg) number you off by five. There will be five groups to come up with a 90 second Public Service Announcement that makes the world a better place.
